There are a number of hotels & airbnbs in the area. We have blocked off rooms at both of these hotels below with a discounted rate for your convenience. Please let us know if you have problems reserving or if the room block is full.

Travel
Monroe is about 1 hour & 30 minutes from NYC, depending on traffic.
Train Information:
NJ Transit offers the closest train stations to the venue/hotel: Harriman or Salisbury Mills-Cornwall (both are 10 minutes away). Both of these stops are on the Port Jervis Line out of Penn Station with a transfer at Secaucus. Average train time is 1 hour & 30 minutes.
The closest train station using Metro North from Grand Central is Beacon (30 minutes away). Average train time is 1 hour & 30 minutes.
Bus Information:
ShortLine offers daily scheduled trips to and from the city.

Airport Information:
New York Stewart International Airport is about a 15 minute drive from Blooming Hill Farm & Newark Liberty International Airport is about an hour drive from Blooming Hill Farm.

Ubers & Lyfts are not abundant in the area, so we recommend booking rides with 20-30 minute advance notice. There are also local taxi companies:

Ben proposed to Lindsay by placing a note asking if Lindsay wanted to start the next chapter of their lives together in the book that she had started the night before. When sitting down to read, having not realized what Ben had so creatively planned, Lindsay decided she no longer wanted to read that book as she wasn’t that into it. She was about to pick up a different book, An Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore, but Ben worrying that even if he was able to switch the note to this new book, the title & topic wouldn’t be that great for a marriage proposal. Luckily, he was able to convince her to keep reading the book she had started. When reading the note, she of course said YES! Both agree that the proposal was... one for the books :)

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Summer Cocktail Attire! Our wedding will take place entirely outdoors, so please dress comfortably for the heat. We recommend suits or slacks/jacket combo and dresses or dressy jumpsuits. As both our ceremony & reception will be on grass, skinny heels are not recommended.
WHEN DO I NEED TO RSVP BY?
Kindly RSVP by May 15th, 2022 through the Paperless Post email invitation.
CAN I BRING A DATE?
If you have a +1 not listed on your invitation, please reach out to Lindsay or Ben to confirm.
WILL THERE BE A SHUTTLE TO THE HOTEL?
We will have a school bus shuttle for both hotels that we have blocks with to Blooming Hill Farm and back and to the after party and back!

- 3:55 - Last Shuttle Departs hotel to Blooming Hill Farm
